Labelled Vissenaire Freres (“Vissenaire Brothers”) – Lyon, France 1862 – Violin

Louis Vissenaire II and his younger brother Louis Nicolas Vissenaire were makers for the Lyon Conservatoire. Prior to this, Louis Nicolas was an orchestral violinist at the Grand Theatre in Lyon, while Louis II worked for Bernadel in Paris.
